I will write in english, as I will not be pretending that my french is good, and I will not be hurting this beautiful language by using Google Translator. And you all know english, so it shouldn't be a problem.
I register to answer to your post, and I must say it is strange place to ask your questions.
At the begining I will say that I'm not working for Atos Group, but I have been with company for almost 15 years. So I do not know what are procedures right now, but I know how it looked in past.
Also I've never been on bench, but few of my friends have been in that unpleasant situation, so I can say based on their experience.
First of all sorry to hear that you on bench, but Atos Poland is benching people on massive scale from 2023, so no one should be surprised to be sent to bench.
What will happen on bench depends on managers, sometimes you need to work from your office 5 days per week sometimes not, but definitelly you should take proactive approach in any recrutation options that will be presented to you, and spend as much time on training as possible and what is most important start looking for a new job, espacially if you got family.
What was presented to my friends, was always the same, bench lasts 3 months, if no WBS is found in that period, the next step is a contract termination.
I'm not a lawyer but I wouldn't be counting on any compensations. Fortunatelly to people that were on bench, each of them was able to secure WBS so there was no contract termination. But my understanding is that the company in that case is just terminating contracts with a notice period, that is all.
Notice period depends on contract type. For B2B I think it is 1 month, but this depends on contract. For standard employee contract (UoP) it depends on work lenght. For more than 3 years it is 3 months, for more than 6 months but less than 3 years it is 1 month, for less than 6 months it is 2 weeks.
Companies usally using "wypowiedzenie umowy o pracy z zachowaniem okresu wypowiedzenie bez koniecznosci swiadczenia pracy" the last part is imporatant it means that such an employee who worked for more than 3y will have 3 month notice period during which he will be an employee and will receive his/her salary but as there is "bez koniecznosci swiadczenia pracy" not need to work, but what is important Employer can change that and can cancel both terminations and "brak koniecznosci swiadczenia pracy" if that is his desire.
So my advise, start looking for a new job.
According to my last manager, Atos Poland lost 700 employees last year, from 4050 to 3360, I really do not know from where he took this data, so not sure if they are accurate, but amount of leaves in 2024 was really massive. Atos Poland as GDC so just a "cheap workforce division" always has problems with attrition but it was never an amount of employees with A1xxxxx DAS leaving company that was so high. Half of my friends with A1 left company 2024/2023.
As I spent 15y in Atos, Atos is significant portion of my live, I really really hope that company will resurect, because Atos deserves that. But I do not believe in miracles, it will not be better. Siemens is leaving, at least GSA and SHS, I do not know if other parts as well. GSA will be supported by Indian company Infosys. Both Infosys and Siemens are doing direct massive recruitment action targeting Atos Poland employees that are working for Siemens contracts, this even brings some tensions on line Atos - Siemens. And Siemens is the biggest client ever. Whithout its money pressure on cost optimization will be even bigger.
So my advise is to be proactive on ANY WBS oportunities, but definitelly work on plan B outside the company.
All this info you should receive from your manager, but from what I heard, and this is true for Eviden, some of the managers are trying to avoid this rather unpleasant topic and avoiding discussion with employees on bench.
Best of luck!!!
